Sending mail from Outlook results in error 0x800ccc80 ??
Symptoms :
When you attempt to send email from Outlook using a POP3 or IMAP account, you receive the following error messsage:
Error Message: 0x800CCC80 - None of the authentication methods supported by this client are supported by your server.
Cause :
The error described in the Symptoms section can occur if your Outlook email account is not configured to log on to the incoming server before sending mail, but your Internet Service Provider (ISP) requires you to authenticate before sending email via SMTP.
Other conditions not described in this article may also result in the same error.
Resolution :
You can use Outlook to repair your email account or enable the Log on to incoming server before sending mail option for your email account.

While working in outlook, when I try to send emails then I was unable to perform this and receive outlook error 0x800ccc80. Why this error occurs and where from its origin I was unable to find and also not able to fix. After searching a lot I found this scanpst.exe tool then I download scanpst.exe tool and install in my system and tried to fix this outlook error 0x800ccc80. Really it works. Thanks.
